*~* In addition to socialization and exercise outside the home, Bertram requires a home with an enclosed yard that will provide plenty of space for exercise. *~*
Bertram is a male Labrador Retriever mix puppy only 2 months old. He currently weighs 14 pounds and should reach an adult weight of 50-65 pounds. Bertram has a deep, shiny, brindle colored coat and clear green eyes. He is a big-boned, sturdy pup and all boy. He loves rough and tumble play, tussling, and can rock and roll with the best of them. He will be a hit at the dog park no doubt. Bertram is good with children but will probably do better with older kids since he will be too much puppy for younger children. He is super fun and hasn't ever met a toy he doesn't like. He is very enthusiastic about any type of play and appears to be quite intelligent, not missing anything happening around him. Bertram is great with other dogs of all sizes and is a confident pup. He has an affectionate nature and will stick loyally by the side of those he knows and loves. He adores belly rubs more than anything else. Bertram does not know how to walk on leash yet as he is still quite young. He is puppy pad/paper trained and rapidly learning good potty habits. Bertram was rescued with the rest of his litter from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter. He is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Bertram’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He will be NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, Up-to-date on VACCINATIONS, DEWORMED and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
