I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
We are not sure about Joshi's background before we pulled him from the shelter, but we believe he had a lot of love in his life because he's a pretty confident pup. Joshi would probably do best in a home with older kids and adults because he's such a little guy. Joshi does take longer to warm up to the males in his foster homes than the females. He is not much of a barker, although he is in a home where the other small dogs are trying to teach him! He does bark when a stranger comes into the home.
Joshi has a little bit of separation anxiety when his person leaves the house and whines, but seems to snap out of it pretty quickly and is fine by the time his foster parents return home. He gets along with his foster canine companions but does like to chase the cat, with a firm NO he will stop though. He is housebroken and uses the dog door and is mostly crate trained. However, if he thinks he can whine enough to make you change your mind about using the crate he will try.
Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
