Paddington is my name and it sure fits me because I am a big ol teddy bear. I am 150 pounds and about 5 to 6 years old. I found myself at

the County Dog Pound a while back and I had an angel come and rescue me. My mom brought me into her home, which she shared with kids,

dogs (she was big into helping rescue animals) and cats. Well there in lays all the difficulties, which has recently lead to me needing help from

Close to Home Animal Rescue. You see, I realllllllllly am not able to be around cats. NOT at all. In fact, I actually hurt the resident cat pretty bad.

I am not a bad boy and truly, I am a GIANT SWEET OLD TEDDY BEAR of a boy who LOVES TO CUDDLE. In fact, I love to lay with my humans, other

dogs, etc. With my age of about 5 to 6 years old, I do not care for HYPER HYPER dogs at all. After all, I am a calm boy who just really loves to play

with my jolly ball and hang out with humans. After the cat "incident" my angel who saved me from the pound was devastated to have to give me up,

but I truly was not safe to have with the cats and my male angel in the house was very ill, so they made sure to get me into this great rescue who

is going to do everything they can to pick the perfect NO cat home for me. Kids...I love em. Other dogs... I love them too as long as they are not

hyper. What I would really love more than anything is to find a quiet fairly active home where I can get a lot of attention. I truly love to follow you around

the home and lay where you lay or sit where you sit. I am past the puppy stage so that is a great thing. I am great on car rides. I am hoping if you are still

reading all this and you are looking for a whole "lotta" love then you are ready to complete that application and make me yours today. The application is

mandatory. Do not email and ask if I am available, because If i am posted, I am available. Do not email and ask for more info, because this is all the info

they have in foster care for now. Do not apply if you have a cat because you will NOT be approved to adopt me because I am not cat safe. So if all of

this sounds like a match made in heaven go to www.cthar.org and lets meet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PADDINGTON***150 POUNDS SWEETNESS - MORE TO LOVE BABY!!!, a Mentor Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Mentor, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Mentor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mentor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mentor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mentor paves the way for another one to be saved.
