More Details About Mimi
Status: Available For Adoption Children: 8 and over
Breed: Boxer Grooming: Low
Size: Large (52 lbs) Energy: High
Age: 10 months Cat friendly: No
Gender: Female Dog friendly: Yes
Mimi may have a tough expression on her face but under the surface she is a lovable, playful, and sometimes goofy pal. She has never met a stranger and gets along well with other dogs. We have tried her with the cat but she is just a little too chummy; she would do better in a feline free environment. Mimi’s is 10 months old and was given up by her family because they felt that they did not have the time to devote to her. She has lived with children and simply adores spending time with them. This loyal and affectionate girl needs lots of attention, playtime, and walks; if you really want to win her heart, you can buy her a rubber chicken – her favorite toy. Although Mimi knows many commands and has learned to keep all fours firmly planted on the ground – at least most of the time – obedience training would be recommended. Mimi does tend to have “accidents” now and then when left alone; this is a form of separation anxiety. A patient and understanding family is a must! Since she is still an adolescent, she is not suited to a home where she is alone all day. Mimi needs a Boxer loving family who is willing to commit to her for the remainder of her life – through thick and thin. If you feel that you are the family for this Boxer girl with the outgoing personality, please fill in the Adoption Form.
