Mya's Story...
Mya is a pure breed Himalayan Seal Point, 14 years old. At one time she was the princess in her home, but that all changed one day when her owner went to a nursing home. Mya remained in the home alone. Neighbors came by daily to make sure there was food, but she just hid in confusion and sadness. Finally getting a look, Mya was found with painfully matted hair and the neighbor called for help, so we took her in. She was examined by the vet, and groomed with a shave and a bath. Now she is feeling much better. She is healthy and sweet, just needs lots and lots of love. She has been alone for awhile and almost forgot a loving touch. She loves to be held and pet, she just purrs and purrs. She enjoys looking out the window, being talked to, and having someone around. She is a great couch buddy who just wants companionship. Mya is the sweetest girl, so gentle and petite. She needs a calm, quiet environment with someone who can rebuild her confidence and show her she's still important.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mya, a Mount Clemens Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Mount Clemens, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Mount Clemens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Clemens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Clemens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Clemens paves the way for another one to be saved.
