Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mya is a pure breed Himalayan Seal Point, 14 years old. At one time she was the princess in her home, but that all changed one day when her owner went to a nursing home. Mya remained in the home alone. Neighbors came by daily to make sure there was food, but she just hid in confusion and sadness. Finally getting a look, Mya was found with painfully matted hair and the neighbor called for help, so we took her in. She was examined by the vet, and groomed with a shave and a bath. Now she is feeling much better. She is healthy and sweet, just needs lots and lots of love. She has been alone for awhile and almost forgot a loving touch. She loves to be held and pet, she just purrs and purrs. She enjoys looking out the window, being talked to, and having someone around. She is a great couch buddy who just wants companionship. Mya is the sweetest girl, so gentle and petite. She needs a calm, quiet environment with someone who can rebuild her confidence and show her she's still important.
