My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince is a very mellow, sweet 5 year old toy poodle mix with the thickest, curliest coat ever, and weighs just 10 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and housetrained. He is super easy to live with, loves to be hugged and held, or just lay next to you on the couch, pressed up against your side. He would make a great sidekick, and is easy to take with you anywhere. Prince does have an old hip injury that makes his gate and stance just a little bit unique. The vet had originally thought that surgery was necessary, but after seeing how well Prince gets around as he is, decided against it. The money for the surgery, however, had already been raised with many generous donations, so A Home For Spot will hold those funds for one year, and if Prince’s condition (which has been very stable since he came into our care) should worsen, or his surgery should be deemed necessary, it will all be paid for. Prince does well with all dogs, but seems apprehensive about dogs bigger than him playing too rough, and seems to really enjoy playing with dogs his size (10 pounds) or smaller.
