Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ciao! My name is LANCE, as in LANCE Romance. My foster mom thinks I speak the language of love. I will freely give you kisses and bestow you with my affection! If you are looking for a never ending supply of unconditional adoration, search no further! I have been nicknamed a miniature Italian stallion. I am a handsome 2 year old Labrador Mix. I am smaller than most labs, weighing in at 52.2 pounds. I have a sleek, shiny black coat that glistens in the snow. I am quite the cutie with white toes and a splotch of white on my chest. I am a friendly boy, getting along with all the people I have met. My mom is amazed at how outgoing and trusting I am. She has currently found a total of 5 BB pellets under my skin. She can't believe someone would use such a sweet boy like
me as target practice. I have an appointment scheduled to have these removed. I am learning to control my excitement when meeting new faces. I get so overjoyed that I jump with glee. I would sure hate to knock over any of those young ones. Sturdy children would probably be best in my new home. I love to play with other dogs. Actually, I will share my kisses and affection with them also. I can tell you that I am not too crazy about cats. While I was at the vet, I stared and growled at a poster on the wall of one of those foul felines. My foster mom thinks I need a cat free home. I am doing really well with my house training and have started to whine and do the pee pee dance when I need to go out. I am pretty good in my crate, but I would much rather be with you. I do stay in my crate when home alone. I love to play and toys are the best. My job is to make sure that every squeaker is meticulously removed and all stuffed animals are deflated. I love to play fetch, and I will occasionally even drop the ball for you. I know to sit for treats, but still working on taking goodies nicely. I can get overzealous so fingers sometimes get in the way. My foster mom tells me that we are working on manners. I ride well in the car, and am learning to walk nicely on a leash. I was told that the name LANCE means servant. I would sure like to be at your beck and call! If you would like to find out more information about me, LANCE, please call my foster mom, Darla, at 630-406-9405. My adoption fee is $200 and includes up to date vetting and a certificate for a free microchip through Rover Rescue.
