Please meet Gator Jimbo. He has a funny name but it just kind of “happened”….one of those names that morphed and then became the perfect name. Gator Jimbo is approximately 12 years young. He arrived to us with a very bad skin infection most likely due to flea dermatitis. His owners surrendered him to a high kill shelter and we do not know why. He is blind, but finds his way around very well and he is housetrained once he knows where to go to let you know he has to potty. He will jump up on the door when he wants to come back in. He is about 12 pounds and has a cute little nubbin’ tail. His hair has been cut very short to allow his skin to heal; however, we believe he is some kind of poodle mix and his hair will grow out curly and white. Aside from his skin issues, he had a very rotten mouth and was not neutered. He has had his teeth cleaned and had 13 extractions and was also neutered. He eats food very well even with the missing teeth. He is a very sweet little dog! He loves cuddles and he loves to sleep on his warm doggie bed. He is also game for car rides and exploring outdoors. He likes to go to the park and sniff in the grass. He is good with other dogs and good with cats. He may be 12 years old but this little man has a lot of life left in him still. He would make the perfect snuggle bunny for someone who who is lonely and/or needs someone to hug. Gator Jimbo is current on all vaccinations including rabies, he is microchipped and neutered.
