My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOLA'S BIO:

Lola is a smaller (100 lbs) 4-5 year old Saint Bernard who is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Lola was heartworm positive when she came to us, but she's started heartworm treatment and is on her way to becoming heartworm free. Lola loves spending time with all of the humans in her foster family, and she's grown to love her 2-year-old Great Dane foster brother. In fact, now they play together and have a great time together! Lola has limited use of one of her front legs but it doesn't slow her down at all. She's been to see an orthopedic specialist and a neurologist, and they have confirmed that she's not in any pain and she can use her leg; it was likely damaged, maybe by a cord or wire at some point, but it's healed and there's nothing that needs to be done about it. Despite all she's been through, Lola adores people and would likely be happy to have another canine companion (though we think she'd likely prefer a male companion). Lola is good with free roam, not destructive and is pretty easy going in general. If you're looking for a gentle, sweet and laid-back companion, Lola could be your girl!
