Coco Chanel's Story...
Coco is the most delightful and affectionate of cats. She is the ultimate lap cat wanting nothing more than to curl up in the closest lap she can find. She is exceptionally lovely and looks a bit like a Maine Coon with her long, silky fur. The dark markings on her lips makes it look like she is always wearing lipstick. She is extremely gentle and has done very well with children. She also loves to play; she particularly loving to pounce on a stick which is moving under a towel. Coco is prone to urinary crystals, so needs to be on a special diet which is available in most large pet stores. As long as she stays on that diet, she will likely have no further problems with crystals and should live a long, healthy life. Coco is four years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco Chanel, a Reston Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Reston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Reston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reston paves the way for another one to be saved.
