Yoda's Story...
Just like the other Jedi Masters from the Star Wars movies, I am a very alert, active explorer, but much cuter. My foster parents say that I am “all boy” and I do love to play with my toys and especially my brother, Chewy. I am crate trained and have not had any “accidents” since I have been with my foster parents. My foster mom tells everyone how smart I am and how affectionate I am with all my human friends. In the short time that I have been with my foster parents, I can tell that I am opening up and becoming more and more trusting every day. I love it when my foster mom takes me for walks with my brother so we can explore the vast territories of this galaxy. For more on adopting me, email info@habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda, a McKinney Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
