Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aladdin was saved from the euthanasia list at Mcacc (county dog pound) our director went to meet him on the first day he was on the list. She fell in love with him. He was very friendly and happy to meet her. However, we are s rottweiler rescue and we focus our efforts on saving purebred rottweilers only. Aladdin was not a purebred. He is too short/small to be a purebred, so we made the tough dicision to pass on him. Normally county only gives them
One or two days on the Euthanasia list before they carry out the threat. However 6 days later he was still alive! Knowing that there was about a 95% chance they would kill him, and he was out of time to find another rescue, I went to bed that night. At 4:30am I woke up and was wide awake, laying there and watching the minutes tick by and couldn't think of anything more then Aladdin. The kill them at 5am at the pound and the whole scenario played through my head and I knew in less then 15 minutes, a worker would come for him and leash him up to walk him down the hallway to his death. I couldn't stand the thought, so I make a phone call and asked the kennel supervisor to hold him from the slaughter because I was coming to get him, and I did. He isn't the best with other dogs, but is living with a female rottie now and they are tolerating each other fine. He needs some work with his basic obedience but Hod foster family has been working with him every day and have seen great improvement. He needs some work. He is a diamond in the rough, waiting for a special family to give him a chance and make him theirs. His adoption fee is only $150.that includes his neuter, shots and microchip. He will come with a collar and a leash. He will melt your heart. Please give Alladin a chance. You won't regret it.
