My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asher and Archer, 6 year old siblings who recently retired, have had their neuter surgeries, and are really ready to go home!

Asher has a gentle and loving soul. He may be a tad older than most retiring racers, but that doesn't slow him down. He loves to play, is always happy, gives great kisses and loves to bury his head in your lap. Asher is a love bug. He wags his tail so hard he slaps himself on the back. Asher follows his foster around the house and is content to simply be wherever his people are. He jumps around, air snaps and gets the "zoomies" when he's excited. He has just learned to play with his squeaky toys.

Asher is a little smaller than twin Archer. He is also a little move calm and quiet than his rowdy brother. Asher has earned house privileges and is no longer crated. Asher sleeps through the night, but is definitely a morning dog. He is very excited to start the day, and puts his paws on the bed to make sure we're awake.

Asher walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. He loves to run and play in the yard, and is generally a happy, well-adjusted hound.

He seems to do fine with small dogs, but he would need a little work to live with cats.

FOSTER UPDATE:

This is the note my mom said I have to share with you – I am a little smaller than Archer. I am also a little more calm and quiet than my rowdy brother. I love people. She says I wag my tail so hard I slap myself on the back. I sleep through the night. I really love to run and play in the yard, and she says I am generally a happy, well-adjusted hound (I have no idea what that means?).
