Looking for a a cat to purr into your ear and keep your head warm at night?

Teddy is a sweet, loyal friend once he gets to know you. He loves nothing better than snuggling in bed. And he's a dignified, perfect housecat.

Teddy had a hone once but somehow got separated from his people and sought warmth inside a car engine, where he sustained extensive burns all over his body. By the time he tumbled out of the car as it drove down Watson Rd., the flesh on Teddy's paw pads was burned off. Despite his pain, though, he has been a docile and undemanding kitty.

Teddy is all healed physically and now is ready to find a permanent home with a person who will heal his spirits and make all those mad memories go away for good.

Won't you consider Teddy?

About Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Frisky Whiskers Network, Inc. was founded in 2006. We are an all-volunteer, nonprofit cat rescue operating in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. We believe that every cat deserves a chance to have their own human family to know the love and security of a forever home...

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events every weekend from 1-5 pm Saturday and 1-3 pm on Sundays at the Petco store in Kirkwood, Missouri. We also have a few cats who reside at the Petco Kirkwood during the week. (During holidays adoptions are done by appointment only)

To adopt a cat from Frisky Whiskers or to inquire about a particular cat, visit us at an adoption event, email us at, or call us at (636) 343-7106 or TEXT to:(314) 477-9038 & (314)780-3325.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask people fill out an adoption application, and we interview applicants. Our goal is to ensure a good fit between cat and humans. Once we have reviewed the application, we require you to complete an adoption contract.

We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation, but we reserve the right to refuse an adoption based on information we gain during the application process. We try very hard to match our cats' needs and requirements with applicants' lifestyles and circumstances. Our goal is to make every adoption a happy and lasting one!

Our adoption fees cover vet care for emergencies and medical issues in addition to routine care. Before adoption, all animals receive the following care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for FVCRP & rabies, test for felv/fiv, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.

Adoption fees are as follows: 1) senior cats $95, 2) cats 1-7 $125, and 3) under one year $150. We do not intend to imply that senior cats are less valuable; rather, this fee schedule reflects the fact that senior cats tend to come to us already spayed and neutered.
