Arleen, awesome aussie!'s Story...
You’re going to have a hard time decided between these cutest and sweetest Aussie-Border pups! This lovely and outgoing group of 7 – 8 week olds are the cutest, most playful and totally well-adjusted kids! Two tri-colored, 3 chocolate and white boys and one golden colored puppy- they are all amazing!! Each one has gorgeous markings, beautiful coats, very healthy and of course energetic. The “A” puppies are the coolest mix of Australian Shepherd and Border collie. They are between 8-12lbs now with the expectation that they will be 35-45lbs when full grown. These babies are all very similar in size and temperament- very social, smart, affectionate and energetic! They are crate trained, pee pad trained and working on their house training! They get along very well with each other and all sizes of other dogs! They love the other puppies at their foster mom’s house and also can follow and love the bigger dogs too! They have been exposed to horses and kids and cats and lots of older dogs. They are looking forward to more socialization, training when they are old enough and active families. Great with kids and cats too- these little babies are just the best all-around kids! Rescued out of high kill Gordon County in the north Georgia mountains; Austin (blondie boy!), Axel (choc and reddish brown and white boy), Angelo (tri-colored cutie), Arleen (tri colored sweetie), Argus and Arty (also choc and white brothers) are so super happy to be out of the shelter and having fun in foster care! They will need adopters that understand their need for energy outlets and they would love another dog in the household. They are healthy, happy and ready for their new homes! If agility or doggie games were in their futures they would love that too! The 6 ”A” pups are vaccinated, micro-chipped and of course very playful! Expected to fly to Seattle Wednesday, February 11th- you will not want to delay in getting your application in for any of this terrific male litter! Their adoption fee is $600 and includes a donation to Georgia spay and neuter in order to be part of the solution here in the over-populated south. To apply right away online, go to www.raincityrescue.com (choose adopt tab). Don’t miss out on this amazing litter of beautiful bouncing southern babies- terrific and totally cool border/aussie mixes who are super happy to be leaving the south!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arleen, awesome aussie!, a Snohomish Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Snohomish, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Snohomish.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snohomish already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snohomish breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snohomish paves the way for another one to be saved.
