Cocoa's Story...
This is Cocoa, a four year old male red long hair pure bred dachshund. He is small boarding on mini. Cocoa was an owner surrender and grew up in a home with two adults and three young girls one of whom is one year of age. There was a cat in the home as well. But we think he would be happy as an only dog so that he could get all the attention he so needs and deserves. As you can see Cocoa is never far from his favorite ball! He loves to play ball and probably would all day if given the chance! Cocoa is very sweet and loving. He will bark at strangers but once he's introduced he's your friend for life! His potty habits are pretty good given a routine with plenty of time outdoors. Cocoa's adoption fee is $250.00. Please email and ask for an Adoption Application. Florida adoptions only please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Pinellas Park Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Pinellas Park, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Pinellas Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pinellas Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pinellas Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pinellas Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
