Charles is a male Maltese/Terrier mix only 1 year old. He is small and cute, currently weighing in at 9 pounds. Charles has a light, creamy wavy coat that is soft and wispy. He brushes out quite easily and is a pretty little guy. Charles is super quiet and likes to observe his surroundings before jumping in and participating. Once he decides all is well, he can become adorably animated, trotting all around like a little prince and waving his tail with joy. He likes other small dogs and will be playful with his favorites. If the play gets too rough, he will sit it out on the sidelines not wanting anything too crazy. Charles is affectionate with people and definitely prefers a gentle touch. He loves to be snuggled and stroked on the head and he is easy to love. His personality is such that he will trust and bond very closely with one or two of his favorite people and be yours truly forever. Charles is good on leash with a harness and rides quietly in the car. He is well mannered inside the home and easy to have around. He's just a great little pup! He will thrive in a peaceful home where he feels safe and protected. Charles was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. He is healthy and looking for his new forever home today!
Charles’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Charles is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
