My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Dutchess and the handsome, dark boy in the other picture is Cricket, my companion for many years. We wanted to tell you a little bit about ourselves, in hopes someone out there in cyber world is looking for two MATURE dogs to love. Cricket and I are 9 years young... We know our chances of finding a forever home are not good. Maybe separately the chance would be better but Cricket and me, we come as what they call a "bonded pair". You see, I'm very dependent on Cricket to feel safe and secure. I'm shy around people I don't know, where Cricket loves just about everybody. Some people say we need to be split up but I'm not going anywhere without him.

We had a owner that loved us but she was sick and older, like us. While she was trying to get well, we have been boarding for almost 2 years. Yes, that is a long time. About 6 months ago our owner went to heaven. Nobody was left to care for us, so we are still here, waiting for somebody to love us. We don't require much. A roof over our head, maybe a yard so we can lay in the sun. The nice doctor at Chase said he would always pay for us to be vaccinated and other medical needs we may have in the future.

So, all we need now is you. Yes, one of you.
