Do you want a best friend who wants to be near you whenever possible, but won’t be up in your face? I’m Penny, and if that’s what you want, I’m your girl! I had a great life for my first 6 years, but then my owner had to go into a nursing home, so my comfortable way of living came to an abrupt end. I’m in a foster home where I’m treated well, but I really want my forever home, where I can become someone’s new best friend and learn the routines of the home. I’m housetrained, well mannered and no trouble. I will sleep in a kennel, or stay there when you’re gone, but I don’t like it. I’d much rather sleep with you, and have been told I’m a great foot warmer. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or having fun with a hobby, I’m happy just to be beside you or behind you on the back of the couch. At 18 lbs, you might not want me in your lap, and that’s fine as long as I can be nearby. I like to know what’s going on. I won’t fight with you over the TV remote or try to steal your snack, but if you want to give me a treat, I’ll gladly take it!
