Nova's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Nova's Story...
This tricoloured beauty is Nova, a Shepherd mix born in September 2013 who was given up because her family felt they didn't have enough time for her. Nova was quite shy when we first got her but has warmed up to her foster dad and his pack quite nicely. Nova would probably do best in a home without young children, and one where she would get lots of exercise and attention. She is proving to be quite an energetic girl and would be a good candidate for agility training or flyball. If you have been looking for a healthy young medium sized mixed breed without having to go through the puppy phase, Nova might be a good match for you. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you are interested in adopting Nova.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nova, a Rigaud Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
