Jack's Story...
Hi! I’m Jack, a spritely 2 year old, neutered male chocolate rabbit (No, not the kind to show up in your Easter basket!) who’s outgoing and would make a great companion for anyone contemplating adding a rabbit to their family! I was surrendered because my previous owner didn’t have time to care for me and thought I needed more attention. As far as pets go, I don’t require a whole lot of attention, but would love to be spoiled with treats and love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Reading Dutch was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch for sale in Reading, or seeking a Dutch from a breeder in Reading.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reading already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reading breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch breeders who help with Dutch rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reading paves the way for another one to be saved.
