Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hope is a darling 9 yr old Shih-tzu mix. Hopes parent’s had to move into an assisted living facility and there was no one to take her in. Hope and Lucy came from the same household, and owners stated they didn’t feel these girls were so bonded, that they should remain together. Hope is spayed, current on all vaccines and preventatives. She is heartworm negative. Hope weighs 20#, which appears to be a little more than she needs to be. She does well around other dogs and cats. We have not kid tested her, but she can get a little nippy, if she doesn’t like your agenda (nail trims, etc). For that reason we cannot consider a home with children under the age of 10. Hope is very spry for her age! She loves to snuggle next to you. She is also a kisser!! Adoption Fee $200. HOME VISIT REQUIRED.
BEGINNING 2015 WE WILL MICROCHIP ALL PETS PLACED THROUGH OUR RESCUE. COST OF CHIPPING INCLUDED IN ADOPTION FEE.

Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
