HERE'S COLIN...a petite, sweet, adorable 1.5 yr old, white Shih Tzu, with gray ears and brown spots on his back! When his coat grows out, he's gonna be even cuter! He came out of the Baldwin Park Shelter so matted that the shelter decided to start to groom him with a 40 blade! Skin burned, un-neutered, bad kennel cough, Colin was not a happy camper. Some coconut oil, lots of love, a gentle make-over and Colin is a rock star! This little boy LOVES other dogs. He gives them kisses, grooms them, loves them. He does NOT like being left alone for long. He is playful and can be seen walking down the street with a toy as big as he is in his mouth! He loves to be with his person, showers you with tons of kisses and is very playful. Colin would be wonderful with kids over 5 yrs old, as he loves attention and play time. He even seems to be potty trained at his young age. Why he was abandoned, we have no idea, but their loss is potentially YOUR gain! Colin would love to join your family of kids and other dog(s)...he is not yappy, he is happy! He's waiting for you to pick him!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
