Cheddar's Story...
Cheddar is a very sweet, young boy who was thrown outside when his owner recently moved - he used to love to cuddle and sleep with his owner. Cheddar is a very handsome orange tabby boy who is a total love bug!
Cheddar has been fully vetted and is a very healthy 3 years old, although he is FIV+. LAW knows that FIV+ cats can live very long (20+ years) & healthy lives, and are very adoptable cats. FIV is spread through bite wounds and since neutered house cats do not fight like this, FIV cats can live along side non FIV cats in health and harmony!
Cheddar would make a wonderful best friend and companion for life so please consider giving this boy the love he deserves!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheddar, a Lambertville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lambertville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lambertville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lambertville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lambertville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lambertville paves the way for another one to be saved.
