Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beatrice is a beautifully sweet and gentle ambassador of her breed. She is one of the eight dogs that were surrendered to P.A.W.S. during the Bryson City Police seizure at the end of November, 2013. We found Beatrice with no food and the only water she could access was the raw sewage coming from below the trailer of her owner. She was very thin, scared, and extremely leery of people.
Our Beatrice has made a complete turn around and is coming out of her shell more and more each day. She especially loves to patrol the fence perimeter scouting for anything new or entertaining. Beatrice is affectionate and will a fine pet for a single, couples, or a family with dog-savvy teenage children.
Our adoption process:
It is our goal to match each animal with the most compatible home, based on their personality and temperament. In order to do this we ask that all potential adopters fill out an adoption interview, as well as talk with a staff member about what they are looking for in a new pet. By doing this we can better match adoptee with an adopter. Resulting in forever homes!
