Nevada's Story...
Nevada was brought to PAWS by people who noticed that a VERY pregnant cat was trying very hard to get inside their house. "We think she's trying to find a safe place to have her kittens" they said. They also said that she would not be allowed inside and that they were sure the dogs outside would kill her newborn babies. Nevada was brought into foster and safely delivered a delightful litter of five healthy kittens. Now, at the Shelter with her kids, she is looking for a forever home!

Nevada is a very sweet, attentive cat. She's vocal, but not in a demanding way. She can hold her own with friendly dogs, as well! She's looking for a loving family that can give her the safety and peace she has earned.

Our adoption process:
It is our goal to match each animal with the most compatible home, based on their personality and temperament. In order to do this we ask that all potential adopters fill out an adoption interview, as well as talk with a staff member about what they are looking for in a new pet. By doing this we can better match adoptee with an adopter. Resulting in forever homes!
