My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES LOKI INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Loki was a stray at a local shelter, his previous owner never showed up for him to reclaim
him, so we agreed to take him into rescue.

Loki is a young 10 month to 1 yr. old Large Male German Shepherd and Malinois or one or the other
we are not sure. He is stunning for sure. He will need the full range of obedience work, he is going to need a very active home, one who walks/runs and hikes daily.

Loki is not for the inexperienced adopter. We believe him to be working lines so therefore without the daily workouts and exercise he will find activities to do on his own, often that results in negative behavior out of boredom. He will also need to go to active training and onto advanced obedience. Agility work would be awesome for him.

The only way to work with and manage these big males or females is to have the advanced training, those kindergarten/pre-school classes at Pet stores are just not going to cut it for these kids. If you would like to make Loki a member of your family, please apply to this rescue and include a description of your experience with working dogs.
