Looking for a great companion?

My name is Castle. I am a very sweet 2 to 4 year old, black n tan cocker boy. I was found as a stray by some nice folks who took me in and tried really hard to find my owners. They gave me food and I was so hungry, I ate 3 bowls. They kept me in their garage and learned that I am very sweet, seem to like everyone I meet and that I am just an easy going guy. Since no one cared about me or bothered to look for me, these folks contacted this rescue to get me a good home.

At the vet, I got neutered, updated on shots and had a dental. I do have tick disease, so this is being treated. Overall, I am in good health and heartworm negative. They found that my teeth are worn, so maybe I had been chewing on a chain or something hard. I am looking for a new forever home and someone to love me again. If you are searching for a really nice best friend who would love to spend quality time with you and enjoy a great life, I am crate trained and would love to be your companion. I like attention, being loved and knowing that someone cares about me. I am scared of slippery floors, so I may have been kept outside a lot. I would love to become an inside doggie, your special pal and a wonderful companion.
