  • Hair: Medium
Ginger was a pet store bunny and like many of them they didn't know she was a female. They thought they had 2 males in the pen. They came in one day to find 2 babies, They took GInger and the babies to the back holding room and put them all in a 10 gallon aquarium as that was all they had,
They didn't know about bunnies so they threw the nest she had made from her own fur pulled out of her chest away. They thought she was not a good momma because she kept putting her food bowl over them. She was just trying to keep them warm as she had no nest and very little bedding in the tank.
We took them all in and have raised them to be good bunnies and not afraid of people.
If you would like to meet them please contact us and we would be very happy to set up a meet and greet.

About B's Furry Friends Rescue (BFF Rescue)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non profit small animal rescue. We primarily rescue exotics however we will try and help any animal that may need us. We offer a safe haven and lots of love.
Some people seem to think animals are a disposable
commodity and just dump them. We take them in and find them new safe and loving homes. We also help a wildlife group and rehab squirrels when needed. If it needs help we do our best to accomodate it.
All fees charged for adoptions go back into the rescue for the care of the remaining animals and the ones coming in.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We typically do adoptions at the Oakleaf Pet Smart in Orange Park every Saturday from 10 am to about 5 pm or later.
We will be happy to let you come meet the adoptable pets onsite. However you will need to call us and set an appointment so we can make sure there will be someone here to greet you.
We do not have a shelter open for the public.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application/contract we will need completed and an agreement that states you will return the animal to us should you be unable to keep it. It does not matter how long you have had the animal.
If you have pets we do a vet check. Depending on the pet we may also do a home visit.
We would like references but are not a requirement.
Our fees vary depending on the pet.
