I am good with cats.

Vinnie's Story...
Vinnie was found wandering down the street by himself when barely a month old. The kind people who found him couldn't keep him so he came to us. Vinnie LOVES people! He is now living in a foster home with several other cats and gets along fine with all of them. But given the choice of a cat to play with or a human lap to sit on, he'll choose the lap every time. Vinnie has not met any dogs since coming to us, but as he is young and curious about everything, he would probably do well with dogs too. Vinnie has to do some serious growing before he is big enough to neuter and go to a new home. But you can meet him now by calling us at 775 423-8650.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vinnie, a Fallon Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fallon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fallon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fallon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fallon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fallon paves the way for another one to be saved.
