Miss Kitty's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Miss Kitty's Story...
Miss Kitty came to our shelter from a municipal pound. She is about 3 years old and SUPER sweet and friendly! Kitty seems to enjoy the company of the other cats, and doesn't seem frightened by dogs. She's still new here, so we hope to have more info soon!

At some point in Kitty's life, one of her front legs was amputated. We don't know the history, but we can assume that she had her leg amputated as the result of a trauma. Having three legs doesn't slow Kitty down one bit! She is a snuggle bug and loves being pet.

Kitty is spayed, vaccinated, and feline leukemia/AIDS negative. To meet her, please visit our website and complete an adoption application. She will be at one of our adoption centers soon! Adoption donation is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Kitty, a North Haven Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Haven, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
