Jax's Story...
Jax is a 2 year old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinos. She is a high energy dog and requires an adopter who is experienced with the breed. A perfect home for Jax would be somone retired, someone very active and hopefully with another large breed dog that she can play with. She is good with male and female dogs. Due to her very high energy level, a home with no small children is recommended. Jax needs someone who has time to teach her obedience. She knows how to sit but she does jump on people when exited. She is crate trained. If interested in Jax, you must complete and adoption application first at www.dbgsdrescue.org. A home visit is required before a meet and greet. Her adoption fee is $250. You must live in Florida. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax, a Ormond Beach German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois for sale in Ormond Beach, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Ormond Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ormond Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ormond Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ormond Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
