Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*COURTESY LISTING for Multnomah County Animal Services*
Meet James!
This sweet boy is a 1-2 year old mixed breed guy who is about 46 pounds and eager to find his forever family! James is currently in foster care through Multomah County Animal Services.
James is a wonderful boy who is extremely lovable! In his foster home he loves to curl up after a long day and cuddle with his people, but also loves to spend his days playing. He would love a home with someone who could spend time playing with him during the day (he loves games like fetch and loves to play with his toys!) but wouldn't mind sharing an evening on the couch together afterwards. James is working with a trainer in his foster home and already knows his basic manners like sit, down and stay. He also is already crate trained and of course potty trained. James did come to the shelter as a very frightened dog, as often happens as it can be a new scary place for most, and while he is still a little bit skeptical of the world, he has made great progress and now holds his head much higher and more confidently. This boy is a sweet and smart big-hearted young dog who aims to please. He would love a family of his very own to spend his days with and hopes to spend the rest of his days filled with love and fun!
James can be slightly shy and nervous at first with new people, but warms up quickly. He feels nervous when seeing other dogs on leash outside as well but is making progress with his trainer every day as well! He would love a family who would continue to work with him and help him become a confident and happy dog!
If you are interested in adopting James please contact Mulntomah County Animal Services foster coordinator Alix at alix.womack@multco.us or at 503-988-6247 to set up a time to meet James!
