Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet sweet Peyton! Peyton never ever meets a stranger; everyone is greeted with the same happy smile. She is a 12-13 year old, 14lb. Shih Tzu. Peyton has a few challenges she meets head on each and every day; she has dry eye and needs eye drops (prescription as well as over the counter) and she has some possible neurological issues with her hind end. She is a bit slow and wobbly getting around but she can actually run in her own funny little way. Peyton does not consider her dry eye or her walking issues as disabilities, she is just a happy go-lucky little girl. If she encounters a floor she is not feeling certain about she simply sits down and pulls herself with her front feet. She is a champ with a doggie wheelchair. Peyton cannot do steps so needs to be carried. She LOVES to ride in the car and loves to cuddle with you and keep an eye on what you are doing. She also loves dogs and pays no attention to cats. She has a great time hanging out in the yard. Because of her condition she would do best in a home with no children or older, dog savvy kids. If you are interested in adopting this precious girl, please email info@seniordoghaven.org. Peyton thanks you for visiting!
