Nestle (named after the company, Nestle, who had given us a donation around the same day this darling arrived in rescue). is a 2 year old, male, terrier mix. We can't pinpoint any specific breed. He's just a cute, sweet, boy looking for some lovin.
He began his life as an outside dog living on a chain in someone's backyard in Pennsylvania. He somehow ended up being "rescued" by a NICE man who loved him dearly.. until he suddenly died after a couple months. Nestle was left homeless. He was taken in temporarily and was intercepted as his temporary home was ready to bring him to the local shelter. Nestle would not have liked it there. He starts off a little shy and would only be more frightened in a shelter environment. So we were happy to take him into rescue instead!
He's turned out to be a very wonderful boy who likes to play and cuddle. He's very attentive and just the perfect size for a family wanting a smaller dog (but not too small). He did mark in his first foster home but quickly learned where the proper potty location was. He is very eager to please.
He enjoys romping in the snow and playing with toys inside. He's not a chewer (not destructive at all) and listens well.
Due to his original shy nature, a fenced yard would be preferred but not absolutely required.

All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.

Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
