Sam's Story...
Hi everyone, I’m Missy a 7 year old, 95 pound girl and I am here with my twin brother Sam, 88 pounds. We have been very lucky in life. Our Daddy adopted us when we were just puppies. He loved us very much and took great care of us so we are healthy and housetrained. Our happiness came to an end though when our Daddy unexpectedly passed away. Daddy’s human daughter didn’t know what to do, she was very sad just like us. She knew she needed help finding a good home for Sam and me so she called AGB and they immediately took us in and started trying to find us a home right away. We really need to stay together. We have ALWAYS been together and if we lost each other after losing our Dad, we just don’t know what we would do. We know finding a true, loving Mom or Dad can be tricky and we have already had a great one, so asking for one again might be asking too much. But our new friends at AGB say they have lots of friends who love Golden dogs like us and we should make a wish so it can come true. So here is our wish: Please give us a great home together where we can play, and love and make our new family very happy. If you are in the mood to make wishes come true, please contact AGB and let them know you want double the love and ask for us, Missy & Sam.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
