Luna came to us a very weak, emaciated, and tired little girl as a stray pulled from the shelter, but that hasn't stopped her from shining through with her very sweet and likable personality. She is an extremely affectionate 10 year old dilute torti who has had some obvious hardships in life. She loves to give hugs and snuggle and nuzzle her face right into you, but sometimes she does need help getting up and down certain things as her back legs are still trying to gain some of their strength back. The vet doesn't feel anything injured in her legs, but she does sway her body a bit when she walks. She is very talkative and vocal when she is wanting attention or feeling lonely. Luna is also a very skinny girl and has a hard time keeping on weight because of her hyperthyroidism, which also requires some medicine everyday. She loves to sit right on your stomach and be petted to sleep and will stay there as long as you let her. Luna needs someone who will let her spend her days lounging and getting head rubs, but is looking for a home where she's the only kitty in the house. Although she never tries to hurt any other animals, she will hiss at them if they get too close to her space and we can tell she would rather be an only child.
