Red Roses's Story...
Hello, I’m called Red Roses. I’m one of the “Kittens with Mittens” but unlike some of my siblings, I have the PROPER number of toes (four on each foot). My siblings are always running around bragging about extra toes, but personally, I think my tiny delicate little feet are much more attractive. They go so well with my shiny black fur and my glowing golden eyes. Who wants to look like Big Foot anyway? I’d much rather prance around on my ballerina feet with my lovely tail draped daintily over my back.

Before I came to Helping PAWS, I hadn’t had a lot of human attention, so I was a little shy. But that all changed when I got here and got to know how wonderful humans are. The folks at HPPR spent lots of time with me, playing and cuddling, and pretty soon I found that being with people is just about the neatest thing in the world. I would love to get to know you too, so stop by Country Care Pet Hospital to meet me. I’ll be the one wearing my heart on my sleeve!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Red Roses, a Washburn Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Washburn, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Washburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
