My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our team was doing a walk through at a high kill shelter when Mr. Grumbles came in as an owner surrender. Sadly, we watched his "mom" carry him back to a cage, throw him in (literally) and walk away without a second thought. Understandably terrified, Mr. Grumbles was, well...grumbley, but despite his growly demeanor, we knew he deserved a chance! Although he is still a bit shy initially, once he feels comfortable, Mr. G is a happy, loving puppy. Just a baby at 5 months old and only 11lbs, Grumbles loves to play with his toys and other dogs but he's also a pretty mellow pup. His favorite activity is actually cuddling, especially with the kiddos in his foster home. Although it certainly isn't a must, this sweet Sheltie (?) mix would love a forever family with kids! Mr. G is also a super smart cookie and making huge strides in housebreaking, crate training and basic commands! Mr. Grumbles is up to date on vaccines, de-wormed and microchipped.
