Bojangles's Story...
Meet Bojangles! He was rescued from a Bojangles in South Carolina. He is about 5-6 years old and a main coone mix. Bo has not met a lot of people in the past few years and is on the shy side. I can tell you it took me about 3-4 weeks for him to warm up to me. After he did he wanted lots of petting, he was obsessed with the laser pointer, and he wanted lots of attention. Bo has waited a very long time for a forever home that will love him and give him plenty of attention. He would love to be adopted with one of his buddies, Moonlight or Marie, both main coon mixes in the same boat as him. His caregiver has to move and he needs to find his home now asap. His adoption fee is waived this month as part of the Looking for Love adoptions. Please come and save him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bojangles, a Fredericksburg Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Fredericksburg, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Fredericksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fredericksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fredericksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fredericksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
