Daisy Duke's Story...
After living the first 3 years of her life on a chain, Daisy has a new lease on life!! She is a 3 year old tiny girl looking for her forever home. She is a petite 28 lbs and it's anyone's guess as to her mix, but we are just calling it cute!! So far, she is doing wonderful in her foster home, quiet in her crate, and SO, SO sweet! We think Daisy would do well with a slow introduction to a cat or a male canine companion. Email us at info@savethepitbull.org to make Daisy a part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Duke, a Chicago American Pit Bull Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
