Lexus- -"Lexie"-- is a 10 week old mixed breed puppy who currently weighs about 10 pounds. She is one of the quieter pups of the litter, and loves to sit in your lap. She and her siblings were found living under an abandoned car in Missouri, but they have been in foster homes for the past 3 weeks and are well-socialized, as well as people and dog-friendly.

Lexie's estimated date of birth is 12/06/14. Mom was reported to be a medium-sized hound mix, and dad is unknown. Because we do not know what size, weight, shape, breed or appearance she will grow into as an adult, only those willing to take pot luck need apply. She is a typical young puppy, full of puppy sweetness and puppy energy. Because she is still a baby, she should not be left alone for long hours and will need a stay-at-home person to implement housebreaking, socialization and general obedience.

You can meet Lexie at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first. The adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo and bordetella vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick preventative, microchip and spay.
