Dollie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Dollie's Story...
This is Dollie. She is 5 years old, and 16 lbs. She has one gorgeous blue eye! Dollie was found as a stray and was in pretty bad shape when she came to rescue. She had a bad skin infection on her belly and ears, a sore on her paw and was limping from being outside with her arthritis. She's cleaned up and feeling better now! Dollie is up to date on all her shots, microchipped, spayed and on heart worm prevention. She is good with other dogs, but desperately wants the love of a human. Dollie has separation anxiety and would LOVE to have a human that could spend LOTS of time with her. If you think your home is the one for Dollie please fill out an application at southerncrossbtr.com. Dollie's adoption fee is $325 to help offset her vet costs. You can email her foster mom with questions at ddscanlon@gmail.com. Dollie is being fostered in Indiana. Thank you for considering rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dollie, a Jackson Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
