Cooley is a male Shih Tzu mix only 1 year old. He has a non-shedding, super soft, fluffy, wavy coat. His coloring is a beautiful charcoal gray and snowy white. Sadly, Cooley came into the shelter in such a matted state of neglect that our groomer had to completely shave his coat off. It will grow back long and glorious in no time. He really has a gorgeous, high quality coat - like touching a cloud. Cooley is a stocky, sturdy 15 pounds full grown. He is a sweet guy, submissive, and with a warm, kind soul. We can tell he has had a rough life because he still is unsure who his friends are and has sort of a sad look in his eyes. He is such an affectionate dog that we know he will give his whole heart to those who show him love. Cooley is excellent with children, other dogs, and cats. He is gentle and polite in everything he does. Cooley will wait until you call him over and then he will come happily for attention. He walks beautifully on leash, right at your side without pulling. He is just so eager to please and win your affection. He likes snuggling but he also has a nice amount of energy for daily walks and other activities. Cooley was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. We are in love with his darling, tender ways and we know you will fall for him too! He deserves to be pampered and cherished. Cooley is healthy and ready for his new forever home today.
Cooley’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Cooley is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Mary, Jerry and Holly and is ready for his forever home.
