My name is Franka and my life has been one of neglect. Additionally, my family ignored the fact that there is a serious overpopulation problem and chose to not have me sterilized; as a result, I recently gave birth to 8 puppies. Now that I’ve finished my job as a Mom and my puppies are all in safe hands and will soon be going to their furever homes, I would appreciate some “me” time. I’m eager to learn and connect to humans; to date most have let me down so I can be a bit leery until I feel I can trust them. I honestly believe that the more time I spend with my humans; the more relaxed I will be in their presence. And, I’m very eager to learn and connect. I look forward to long walks, romps in the snow, rolls in the soft grass, nutritious food, and a comfy bed. If you take me home, I promise to be loyal and loving for many years to come. I would prefer a home without young children; loud voices and sudden movements make me nervous. I get along with other dogs but would be equally happy on my own. I hope that a special person will be interested in adopting me – I really do deserve a chance at a happy life.
