Hi! My name is Archie. I am about 8 months and a boxer/Jack Russell mix. I was found as a stray a couple weeks ago and now I am in a foster home where I love to cuddle and play. I am crate trained and I know how to sit, high five, and lay down. I love treats and love all toys! I am good with other dogs and I love to play with my foster brother. I also love walks and running around outside. I don't play very rough so I would be good with children. Please give me a furever home!! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archie, a Staunton Jack Russell Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Boxer for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
