Libby and Baxter's Story...

MEET LIBBY & BAXTER! These two sweeties came into rescue as their elderly owner lost her home is no longer able to care for them. Libby is a gorgeous Red Sable long haired girl, 8 years old. She is a sweet, laid back cuddle bug and loves humans, but shows little interest in other dogs besides Baxter. Baxter is a 9 year old smooth black & tan, and he is a hoot! He has a lot of energy and LOVES to play! Their ideal forever home would be one where Libby could get lots of cuddles  and Baxter maybe had a buddy or two with his energy level who would like to play with him. These two are very bonded and cannot be separated. Both dogs are housetrained and extremely sweet and well behaved. Currently being fostered in Southern New Jersey, but transport can be arranged within reason to an ideal forever home. If interested in this PERFECT PAIR, please complete our online adoption application: www.sophiasgracefoundation.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby and Baxter, a Coatesville Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Coatesville, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Coatesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coatesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coatesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coatesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
