Pavarotti's Story...
Name: Pavarotti
Color: Black and White Tuxedo
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Gender: Male
Age: 2 Years
This sweet and mellow guy is Pavarotti. Just like his namesake, boy can Pavarotti sing!
Big fan of: He is a talkative guy who meows when he wants attention and yowls when he is feeling uncomfortable. Pavarotti loves to have his cheeks scratched and will just melt into your hand. He likes to live on his own time and prefers not to be picked up. He can be a little uncomfortable when put into new situations, but give him a little time to adjust and he will be a loving friend for the rest of his life.
Dream Home: Pavarotti would prefer to live without dogs, though he should be able to adjust to living with a female cat. Pavarotti can live with respectful children who will be patient while letting him adjust to his new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pavarotti, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
