I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Francis's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Francis's Story...
As "cute" as Francis is, he needs a special potential owner ... Francis has serious trust issues, and requires an owner who can manage his moments of poor behavior with new people. His background is from abuse, and should not be with children, and definitely with a person(s) who understands that trust is built through consistency, affection at the right times, and awareness to what triggers him. Another dog in the home would be great, and he's good with cats who are comfortable with dogs. Great on leash, and in the vehicle, respectful in the house.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Francis, a High River Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu for sale in High River, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in High River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in High River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a High River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in High River paves the way for another one to be saved.
