My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lookout, here comes Lexi! Lexi is a lovable 4 year old Sheltie/Chow mix that was surrendered to Friendship because her elderly owner was too ill to care for her. Lexi came in terrified at being kenneled but she is slowing getting used to it. Once out of her kennel she's one of the sweetest dogs you will ever want to meet. Just take it slow when visiting. Lexi lived with a cat and a calm senior dog and was fine with them. She's been fine with the younger volunteers at the shelter but it's probably best if the kids in the family are a little older and respectful to dogs. Lexi is a little chubby and could use some exercise. She loves to go for walks and is easy on a leash. Lexi would be a terrific companion pet.
